Tulip Diamonds and Queens Collection
Single Late
This is something of a classic planting combination, and one that is still difficult to resist. The clear, sparkling pink cup-shaped blooms of ‘Pink Diamond’ contrast dramatically with the rich burgundy of ‘Queen of the Night’. They grow and contrast so well together and make a wonderful duo displayed in a vase.
Collection inlcudes 15 bulbs each of:
- Pink Diamond - flowers May, height 30cm/12in
- Queen of the Night - flowers April to May, height 60cm/24in
Plant your tulips between November and December at a depth of approximately 10-15cm/4-6in, approximately 20cm/8in apart, in fertile, well-drained soil in a sunny position. Planting sooner can result in frost damage to the growing shoot. We recommend dead-heading once the blooms begin to fade and feeding with a fertiliser for a few weeks for stronger bulbs next season.
