Salvia Raspberry Melba Flower Plants
Salvia Raspberry Melba Flower Plants
Bring vibrant colour to your garden with Salvia Raspberry Melba, a compact series producing raspberry-pink bicoloured flowers from May through October. The large two-tone blooms with dark calyxes add dramatic visual interest to borders, bedding, or containers. Semi-evergreen aromatic foliage provides texture, while the plants’ hardy and drought-tolerant nature ensures reliable, low-maintenance colour. Loved by pollinators, they thrive in full sun and well-drained soil, with some protection advised in frost pockets or very wet, cold winters.
Young Plants
Grown in individual large plug cells measuring up to 12cm (4.8in) in height. Plants are well rooted and will be supplied (where necessary) with the central stem ‘pinched’ to encourage strong and bushy growth. The foliage height will vary according to variety, but on average will be between 4 and 8cm. On arrival, simply pot up into 6 or 7cm pots, or, if you have room, plant directly into baskets and containers and keep somewhere warm and light. A full and complete growing guide will be included with your plants to help you achieve the best results.
